Lindt Chocolate captured the media spotlight in September with several media outlets raving about the recently launched commercial “Airport.” This humorous TV advertisement features Lindt Global Brand Ambassador and Swiss tennis star Roger Federer alongside Lindt’s irresistible smooth melting Lindor Truffles.
September was also the month of the US Open, United States Tennis Championship Tournament, and Lindt’s Perfect Match Sweepstakes. For every match Roger Federer won during the Open, Lindt donated $1,000 to the Roger Federer Foundation (RFF). The Foundation primarily focuses its efforts in Africa, offering charitable grant-making opportunities to address the critical challenges in education for disadvantaged children.
This past month, many consumers participated in the “The Perfect Match” sweepstakes, and played a fun game matching different flavors of Lindt’s iconic smooth-melting Lindor Truffles. Chocolate lovers had the chance to win daily prizes. In addition, all players were entered into the grand-prize sweepstakes for a chance to win the ultimate Swiss vacation – a three-day trip for two to Zurich, Switzerland to visit Lindt’s global headquarters. During the trip, the winner will attend a meet and greet with Federer and be given a personalized tour of the historic Lindt & Sprungli chocolate plant.
