Remember back to when you were a kid, the excitement that Easter brought with it each year; the anticipation of what you would find in your Easter basket that Sunday morning, and the joy of the annual Easter egg hunt. While your days of awaiting the arrival of the Easter bunny might now be long passed, this year, Easter can still bring a little joy and excitement to your life and the lives of others. Lindt is partnering with Autism Speaks for the third year in a row to raise money for autism awareness and this year will be harnessing the power of social media.
**UPDATE: From today (April 3rd) until Easter, Lindt is increasing the donation amount to $10.00 per re-pin as we are committed to reaching our $10,ooo donation goal!**
With your help, Lindt will be donating up to $10,000 in addition to our other donations to this important cause. So how do you get involved? Visit our #Pin4Autism board on Pinterest and select and re-pin the Easter tradition photo that you enjoy most. For each #Pin4Autism pin, $1.00 $10.00 will be donated to Autism Speaks, per re-pin. While pin donations are limited to one per person, you can maximize your impact by inviting friends and family to get involved.
Here is how to make a donation:
- Visit our #Pin4Autism board on Pinterest
- Select the “Re-Pin” button on the tradition photo that you enjoy most.
- You can even customize the caption of the repinned image so that it includes your own personal message. Just make sure to keep the #Pin4Autism hashtag along with the donation text within caption to ensure that your donation is included. Example Caption (bolded portion must remain): “Egg decorating is my favorite Easter tradition! [I just donated 10 dollars to the Autism cause by pinning this photo. Learn how you can #Pin4Autism too by clicking on the image above.]”
- Select “Pin It”
- You’ve donated!
Want to do even more to help? Recreate one of the Lindt inspired projects, whether it’s a recipe, craft, etc., that incorporates Lindt products on Lindt’s Pinterest page and email Lindt and include the image or link to your creation, along with the subject line: #Pin4Autism Donation. Lindt will donate $25.00 to the cause for your efforts. Feeling extra creative? You can even create your very own Lindt Easter project pin and submit it.
So as you start to think about bunnies, bonnets, baby chicks, and all the other things that get you in the Easter spirit, don’t forget to spread some of the holiday love by getting on Pinterest and doing your part with Lindt to help an important cause.
